Along with the supermodels comes the many famous household designers who play a pivotal role in bringing through these hot beauties from Brazil.
Like, Rio De Janerio born, Daniella Issa Heleayel, founder of the luxury designer Issa London, is one of the most successful designers to come straight out of Brazil. Her autumn winter 2012 collection inspirations are described as, «Trans-Siberian journey, From Russia with Love and Russian Tsars.»
Nevertheless it isn’t just about London, New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Week, Rio De Janerio and Sao Paulo have just hosted their Autumn Winter 2012 collections and even though Brazilians do best in swimwear and denim, they have demolished the stereotypes and clichés to embrace more global aesthetic. This is where Brazilian models and designers unite to create an explosion of creativity and show the rest of the destinations how it should be done. With Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the biggest fashion event in South America to date, it reached its 32nd edition on the 19th-24th January this year. It hosted 29 shows over the course of six days, with main brands and names such as Juiliana Jabour, Cavalera, UMA, and saw the Burberry Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley make her return to the catwalk by replacing Raquel Zimmerman for the label Animale. The collection saw moody colour palette, velvet accents, fluffy fur cot and the inspiration saw aristocrats and Russian Czars. There was incredible key season trends to come straight of this seasons Sao Paulo runway, with Alexandre Herchcovitch for one. He completed cycles of ready to wear looks with unlikely materials such as lace and technical nylon to create a clean lady like silhouette. With neutral colour of shades of brown, plum and pumpkin which all looked effortless and simple but effectively eye-catchingly with an overall solid bold look. He also brought forward a metallic theme to compliment the lace and jackets and made gold into an acceptable easy to use colour. Overall Brazil needs not to be underestimated with their powerful on trend looks and outrageously gorgeous women, together combined will leave them unstoppable.
